SATA hard drives are gradually becoming the mainstream of hard drives, but DOS itself only supports the compatibility mode of SATA, which greatly reduces the performance of SATA hard drives. In the IDE era, there was UDMA.SYS (only supporting chipset below ICH4). Adding DEVICE=UDMA.SYS in CONFIG.SYS can increase the efficiency of IDE hard drives by more than 3 times, which is even higher than the disk efficiency under WINDOS98. And can it be the same for SATA? Please give guidance from experts. Or where is there relevant information? Thank you very much.

Try UIDE.SYS, which is an upgraded version of UDMA, supports SATA...
