I want to ask everyone a few small questions here:
1. Books say DOS installation disks come on three disks, and at most are only about 4 MB. But the ones downloaded from the Internet are over 30 MB. What's going on? Please help me out. 2. Is it possible to install DOS first and then install Windows Me These are very basic questions, so I'd appreciate everyone's help! |

DOS 6.22 has three installation disks, and after installation it's about 6 MB. But online there is also a packaged set of the DOS 6.22 source files, and that is also 20 MB.
PC DOS 2000 is over 20 MB, so what you downloaded is probably PC DOS 2000. WINME does not support dual boot with DOS; if you want dual boot, you can only install WIN98. |

Even the full direct-run edition of MS-DOS 7.10 is only a few MB in total when downloaded.
