It's not that it doesn't support them itself, but that there is neither ROM-DOS's EMM386.EXE nor UMBLINK.SYS available (note: EMM386.EXE is a protected-mode UMB driver, while UMBLINK.SYS is a real-mode one, like UMBPCI). Because ROM-DOS does not support MS-DOS's way of creating UMBs, using MS-DOS's EMM386 and UMBPCI won't work. However, a few programs such as UCDOS, CCDOS97, and CuteMouse can automatically use UMB under ROM-DOS 7.10 (of course, when loaded by MS-DOS's EMM386 or UMBPCI). I have also thought about adapting the part of CuteMouse that calls UMB, turning it into an LH command that supports ROM-DOS UMBs.
