China DOS Union

After using screen thief under DOS, MPXPLAY can't run! OPENCP can run, but it can't capture its image,
but VIDEO THIEF doesn't have this problem. However, using its method to save VTF files as BMP seems not to work either. I've tried several methods, none of them worked...
Still, using QUICKVIEW to view pictures and watch VCDs is really great!!
Using OPENCP to listen to CDA is great!
Using MPXPLAY to listen to MP3 is great!

I remember I converted VTF to BMP before, but I haven't used it for a long time, and I don't remember the method anymore. Also, QuickView Pro and OpenCP can play MP3 too, and MPXPLAY can play CDA/CDW as well..

QUICKVIEW is also pretty good for playing MP3, but it can't play CDA. I tried using OPENCP to play MP3, but there was no sound. Using MPXPLAY to play CDA (it seems to display it as CDW), there is background "shhh" noise..
Using QUICKVIEW to play VCD is also good, but it seems that setting the resolution and picture quality has no effect. Also, why is it that in window mode you can't just double-click DAT files to play them directly?
But one key point is, what software is there in DOS to play DVD??

OpenCP plays MP3 with sound on my machine, so I guess there's probably something wrong with the related settings on your side. CDW and CDA mean the same thing, both are CD audio. If you want to play DVD under DOS, you can try DVD4DOS, but at present there are still some limitations...
