I want to use networking under pure DOS, and I want to use the NET USE command, but after trying several times it still doesn't seem to work. Is it because ordinary boot disks generally don't have this command??? Does anyone know what software comes with this command? Could you provide a download link? Thanks!

The Net command can't be used under pure DOS; it can only run in a DOS window under Windows.

The following is quoted from JonePeng's post at 2004-9-8 19:42:19: Not entirely correct. As long as networking under DOS is enabled, you can use the Net command in DOS. See Bart's Network boot disk for details. |
