This is the second software tool I have Chinese-localized
CMOSMENU (Ver 1.6)
Functions:
1. Save CMOS values to the CMOS.DAT file
2. Restore values from the file CMOS.DAT to CMOS
3. Turn on the floppy drive (can directly turn on the floppy drive)
4. Turn off the floppy drive (if the floppy drive has been read, you need to restart the computer; otherwise you can turn off the floppy drive directly)
5. Clear CMOS values (this can remove the password, but you will need to reset the CMOS parameters; this software generally does not change CMOS values)
0. Exit
Usage:
CMOSMENU
or
CMOSMENU ?
or
CMOSMENU 1
Function notes:
1. If you are managing a computer room and have just bought dozens of computers, of course most of the hardware specs will probably be the same. Going from one computer to another to set CMOS parameters will take quite a bit of your time. At this time, you can copy CMOSMENU.EXE and the CMOS.DAT file to a floppy disk, take it to the new computers, and run CMOSMENU 2 to set up the CMOS parameters.
2. If your computer contains important materials, to protect your materials you can set a password on CMOS and lock the floppy drive so others cannot steal them. When you want to use a floppy disk, you no longer need to re-enter CMOS to turn on the floppy drive and then restart the computer. Now you only need to use CMOSMENU 3 to directly turn the floppy drive on and off at any time.
3. If you are online in a computer room or Internet cafe and want to use a locked floppy drive, but do not have the password and do not want to damage the password, please use the compact CMOSMENU available for download from major websites.
