Although the advent of CCED 6.0 was not brilliant because it directly faced the impact of the Windows system, its own value has reached the peak in Chinese character processing in the DOS era. After removing the large character library, the DOS simple system, word processing, basic character library, Chinese character input, etc. can all be done on one floppy disk.

The WPS in UCDOS is not authentic. It's not as good as that in SPDOS, which is truly original.

I used to make a 1.44M teaching disk, using DOS 6.22, with China Dragon 4.0 network simplified version + WPS 2.2 on it, supporting monochrome display and color display, with both pinyin and Wubi input methods. There are also FOXBASE and CXED on it. If needed, I'll look for it, or at least I can tell you how to make it.

In today's era of rapid technological development, using WPS in DOS is a bit outdated, at least 15 years behind. If you teach children with outdated knowledge, they may find it difficult to adapt to the new situation when entering society and will have to learn again. It is better to start at a high level and high position, and at least start learning from WPS, CCED, OFFICE or notepads under the WINDOWS system.
