Under DOS, is there any software or method that can change the IP of a Windows 98 system... without having to reboot like in 98 after changing it?

As far as I know, Windows 98 has only one way to change the IP without restarting, and that is to use DHCP to obtain the IP address (this requires a DHCP server to be set up on your network). The commands used are: ipconfig /release_all
ipconfig /renew_all
