First question: How to adjust the size of the hidden page file (PAGEFILE) in the root directory of the C drive of XP? I see that the page file is 760M, is it normal? Thanks in advance.

Right-click "My Computer", select "Properties". Click "Advanced" -> "Performance Options" -> "Change" in "Virtual Memory", then fill in the numbers you want to adjust in "Initial Size" and "Maximum Size", and then click "Set" to finish the change. If your memory is 256M, then 760M virtual memory is not too large and is very normal. The size of virtual memory can be changed arbitrarily, but the minimum value (that is, the initial size) is twice your memory.
