My motherboard is an Elitegroup i815e chipset, with integrated AC97 sound card and integrated graphics card. Where should I look for drivers under DOS?

There is a game emulator under DOS that comes with a generic AC97 sound card driver, including various versions of drivers for SiS, VIA, Intel and other AC97 sound cards, but I can't find a standalone one. Its source code can be downloaded; does anyone know who could separate it out and make it into a generic AC97 sound card driver?
