LBACACHE is indeed not bad, but unfortunately it supports neither write caching nor CD caching, and it is not compatible with SMARTDRV.

If all you want is a small file size, just compress SMARTDRV with DIET. After compression it's only 15K, but the display messages are gone.

After compressing SMARTDRV with UPX, mine is 13K. Not only are the display messages still there, it can also run. But the memory usage is still too large, usually dozens of KB.

By small, I mean small memory usage, not a small file.

Then use LBACACHE, 3M of cache uses 11K of memory.
