I have a control program running under DOS 5.0 that uses the COM1 port. Now COM1 is damaged, and I want to redirect the input and output of COM1 to COM2.

Since the vendor no longer supports the DOS environment, I can't get software for COM2.

Swapping the ports would work too, just set it in the BIOS.

Do you mean changing COM1's 3F8 and IRQ4 to IRQ3?
