Here are the download links for various DOS 7.10 version boot disks I made:
MS-DOS 7.10 Boot Disk: http://newdos.yginfo.net/dosware/mdos71bd.zip PC-DOS 7.10 Boot Disk: http://newdos.yginfo.net/dosware/pdos71bd.zip ROM-DOS 7.10 Boot Disk: http://newdos.yginfo.net/dosware/rdos71bd.zip Note: All the above DOS boot disks support FAT32 partitions and large hard drives. Moreover, the MS-DOS 7.10 Boot Disk and the ROM-DOS 7.10 Boot Disk both fully support long filenames locally and contain many useful tools. Any shortcomings, please give your advice. |

There is, but since it's a trial version, there's a 30-second delay when starting.

I don't have this level yet, unless there's the source code.

Quote from Wengier on 2003-2-22 10:16:32: I have only cracked PTS-DOS 2000, and PTS-DOS 2000 Pro is encrypted, and I can't crack it either |

Download link for the DEMO version of PTS-DOS 2000 Pro:
http://www.getafile.com/cgi-bin/merlot/get/paragon/demo/dos2000d.exe I just made a comprehensive improvement to MS-DOS 7.10, adding quite a few software, such as Volkov Commander (a useful file manager that supports long filenames), NTFSDOS (NTFS driver), DUSE and USBASPI (USB driver), etc., and for the first time used the CAB format (such as VC.CAB, etc., made in the DOS window with CABARC) to save some files to save disk space. This bootable disk has many features, for example: Comprehensively supports Chinese and English long filenames; Comprehensively supports the boot of Windows 3.x; Comprehensively supports FAT32 and large hard disks; Comprehensively supports NTFS drives; Comprehensively supports devices such as CD-ROM drives and mice; Supports USB drives, such as USB hard disks, etc.; Uses a memory virtual disk (XMSDSK); Comes with many very useful tools; Free conventional memory is greater than 625K; And so on. However, because the FTP of newdos.yginfo.net cannot be accessed these days, it cannot be updated there. |

The download address of this MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk is:
Note: It is in RAR format, compressed in split volumes using RAR 3.11 for DOS, with two volumes, each 600K. Volume 1: Open the attachment Volume 2: Open the attachment |

This time I made some updates again, such as successfully compressing HIMEM.SYS (no error messages), CLOAKING.EXE, etc., and added USB drivers like ASPIOHCI. The download address is the same as before:

Update again. This time, the main addition is the boot menu, with the following options:
1: Boot with EMM386(NOEMS) 2: Boot with UMBPCI 3: Boot with UMBPCI,NTFS drives and USB support(if any) That is, the first item is to boot in EMM386 mode, the second item is to boot in UMBPCI mode, and the third item adds support for NTFS and USB drives. Because the main problem with UMBPCI is that it does not support some motherboards, so users are given a choice between EMM386 and UMBPCI during boot. Download address remains the same: http://newdos.yginfo.net/dosware/mdos71bd.zip |

As a boot disk, it is mainly for system maintenance and file management. We need a more practical, convenient, and advanced DOS boot disk. Sometimes, when reinstalling the WIN system, if EMM386 is loaded, the installation program cannot proceed, so I did not include EMM386 in my boot disk and only used UMBPCI. Although it does not support some motherboards, it does not hinder use, and leaving 500K of conventional memory in the system is basically sufficient. I often encountered死机situations when using EMM386, while UMBPCI left me a good impression.

Yes, I was always using UMBPCI before, but the new AMD CPU computer is not supported by UMBPCI, so I have to use EMM386 now.

I downloaded it and tried it out.
Displaying the logo under DOS is quite creative, but it's not difficult to implement. But I personally think it's better to forgo this function. It's flashy and not practical, taking up a lot of bytes. First, msdos.sys is over 1024 bytes, and second, logo.sys is actually a modified Windows BMP bitmap file and can't be compressed, so it's quite large. The clock.com software is quite fun, but there seems to be a bug in the display. It should show 0 o'clock at 24 o'clock, but the program doesn't carry over. Hehe... Also, how do I use its reminder function? I seem to have set the alarm parameter but nothing happens when the time comes, and I don't know how it's supposed to remind me. Was the DOSVER software cracked by you (wengier) or did you participate in writing it? Hehe... But what does it mean when it shows the current DOS version as: auto.? The MCD software is very useful. Hehe... It's powerful. Why is the unregistered version of QV1 used? Is it because it's smaller? I haven't tried undisk yet, but according to the help information, it's also extremely powerful, hehe. Besides, it's Mr. Feng's work? Why doesn't XZL add a Chinese input method? XZL's input method is also small, and it can automatically exit when XZL is exited, not taking up memory. I don't understand some other tools. Some seem to be files needed for batch processing. For example, findcd, findram, wbat, strings, locate, nset, etc. The BOOTPART tool is very good. According to the introduction, can it modify boot.ini? This disk gives me the feeling: Powerful, supports many devices, supports many file formats, and has many compact tools. The places that seem insufficient are: There are still few hard disk tools. Most are official tools from MS. There are no other better tools integrated, (more applicable ones) However, the capacity is only 1.44M, so not too much can be installed. |
