Error loading device driver PROTMAN.DOS probably means the network card driver is wrong.

I know there's no CD-ROM drive, but my network card really is RTL8139

I downloaded it. This is an installer under DOS. Dizzy. After installing it locally, my machine has 98 and XP installed, but after installation there was no response at all. It's even worse than under NT! Sigh, why is it so hard! If you can't explain it clearly, then just make me a floppy disk.
