I originally didn't even know that Windows came with a DOS input system.
And here, aside from the webmaster and the moderators being pretty good, a lot of people are also DOS newbies.
If you want to input Chinese in DOS under Windows, first type pdos95, then use Ctrl+Shift to switch input methods. If you don't have Windows, look in this forum for ccdos, ucdos, xzl, hw... these are all DOS input methods. xzl is relatively small, hw isn't big either, but it has quite a full set of input methods: Pinyin (various kinds), Wubi, quwei... look for them yourself. If you really can't find them, then ask the webmaster.
