Hehehehe, moderator, those were exactly the four files I downloaded before, and the download addresses were the same too. Looks like there really is no way around it,, you can try it yourself and see whether it works?? Let's put that aside for now. What I'm most concerned about now is how a DOS workstation can receive messages sent by WIN9X and WIN2000. MSCLIENT3.0 can share out the files on the DOS workstation, but it still can't receive messages sent by WIN9X or WIN2000. I turned on its POP_UP function and it still didn't work (the WINNT book said that turning on this function would make it work. Mine is WIN2000 SERVER. I chose Send Console Message in Computer Management, and the result was unsuccessful. I haven't tried NT, but I did try WIN9X and that didn't work either. My network is peer-to-peer.)
Besides MSCLIENT3.0, I also tried nwlite1.0. I only know that it can be used to make a peer-to-peer network with WIN.
I'm using an ne2000 network card and the DOS622 operating system. In msclient3.0 my network card driver is ne2000.dos. When installing nwlite1.0, for the network card I selected the NOVELL/EA......................NE2000 item. Later I also tried all the other NE2000-related items, and none of them worked. After installation, when I run the startnet.bat file, the prompt information is as follows:

After that, when I type the command net login supervisor or just net,
the cursor stays blinking in the lower left corner of the screen, and no matter how long I wait the computer gives no response at all.
Later I did the same thing on another DOS622 machine, and again there was no response at all.
I don't know where the problem is. Moderator, can you help explain it?
Actually, I think it would be so nice if MSCLIENT3.0 could receive messages from WIN, then I wouldn't have to change the current network.
It would be even better if this NET had some SEND parameter like NOVELL does. It's because it can't receive messages from WIN that I thought of the NWLITE1.0 you recommended.
Please help me,, Mr. Moderator.. hehe.. no matter what software it is, as long as it can make DOS622 receive messages from WIN
I'll be very grateful. If it can also send messages, that would be even better. I've looked for a lot and tried a lot, and I really have no solution.....
