My machine has WIN98 installed, and I can't play DOS Mahjong games. It says "not enough low menory (570k)"
I'd like to ask how to configure CONFIG。SYS, sorry to trouble you. A detailed one would be best. Thanks.

570K is not much. Some games need more than 600K of conventional memory.

The following config.sys and autoexec.bat are for reference only.
config.sys
dos=high,umb
device=c:\windows\himem.sys
device=c:\windows\emm386.exe noems

autoexec.bat
lh mouse.com

Generally speaking, this can leave about 600K of conventional memory free. If the game needs EMS, then remove the parameter after emm386.

See the "Configuring Memory under DOS" section in the "Using DOS" forum, where you can get as much as 630K of free conventional memory.
