Can a virtual CD-ROM drive install a system?
I remember that when installing Win98, after the machine restarts and continues the installation, it still needs to read from the CD.
If you use a virtual CD-ROM drive, will the CD-ROM drive still be there after the restart?
Even if it is, after the restart won't the system still be the original DOS system? Or MS-DOS 7.1 under Win98? Maybe the virtual CD-ROM drive has problems under MS-DOS 7.1?
I've never used a virtual CD-ROM drive to install a system. I don't think it's possible.
