I load the line DEVICE=C:\DUSE\DUSE.EXE VERBOSE DRIVES=2 XFER=8 SEC=2048 NOCD in config.sys, and it hangs during startup. When loading duse, I can see that it recognizes two USB controllers, but after that the cursor just blinks and there is no response.
If I enter DOS and load it manually, the behavior is the same as above, it also hangs.
My motherboard supports large hard disks, and the hard disk is a 20G removable hard disk.
Asking for a solution. Thanks

I don't have a USB hard disk or CD-ROM drive to test DUSE, but it looks like in your parameters
sec=2048 is definitely wrong.
The size of each sector on a hard disk should be 512; only CDs are 2048.
