I ran into a problem, and I could find very little documentation on it. Please give me some pointers:
When starting the computer with a Windows 98 boot disk, this appears:
AIC-78XX/AIC-75XX ASPI manager for dos
version 1.32s
copyringt 1994-1997 adaptec , inc
Scanning PCI bus using mechanism #2...

The cursor just keeps blinking, but it cannot boot successfully. What is the reason??? How should it be handled?? Please advise.

Additional explanation of the situation:
For a long time, everyone has been saying that ghost 2003 is very powerful. One day I had a sudden idea: without formatting drive C, directly restore the *.gho containing WIN98. Unexpectedly, after rebooting it could not start successfully. Using a Windows 98 boot disk or CD to boot then gives the following message:

First, thanks to aria for the suggestion and guidance.
But if I boot with "Super DOS 7.10" it succeeds, which saved my life. Why can't I boot with the WIN98 floppy disk or CD? Before this problem appeared, the machine booted very quickly. "The BIOS settings have not been changed, and there has been no hardware damage or changes."
But ever since then, I can only rely on "Super DOS 7.10" to boot. As soon as I use the "WIN98 floppy disk or CD boot," it fails, and the situation I mentioned appears.

Please advise

Find the differences between the AUTOEXEC.BAT file on the Super DOS 7.10 boot disk and the AUTOEXEC.BAT file on the WIN98 boot disk. First use the REM command to block out the command that causes the problem, then try again. See at what step the problem occurs during execution, and then think of a way to solve it.

If, when booting from the floppy drive, I choose not to support CD-ROM, then it boots successfully;
If I want to restore the usual "choose CD-ROM support when booting from the floppy drive" and still boot successfully, how should I solve it? Please advise

Wouldn't changing to a generic CD-ROM driver to load the CD solve the problem?
Jianfang, use a CD-ROM driver called VIDE-CDD.SYS.
