I have a laptop with no CD-ROM drive. There is a system backup on the hard disk, but it is in 2 ISO files (they're not large, but during installation, after CD1 is installed it prompts for CD2. It can't be extracted to the hard disk for installation).
Can it be booted into DOS first, and then use a virtual CD-ROM drive to mount these 2 ISO files and install the system smoothly?
If that works, then the ISO files could just be stored on the hard disk!
