Hello, I'd like to ask, under DOS, is there any software that supports Traditional Chinese display? For Simplified Chinese there is TechWay, so is there any similar software for Traditional Chinese? Or is it possible to modify TechWay so it can display Traditional Chinese under DOS? Thanks!

For Traditional Chinese, there are Taiwanese Chinese character support systems like ETen and Guoqiao. CCDOS97 can support Chinese characters with BIG5 internal encoding, but they are displayed as Simplified Chinese.
ETen, UCDOS, and 213 can all display Traditional Chinese through Traditional Chinese fonts, but these Traditional Chinese characters are all in GB code, and cannot display Chinese characters in BIG5 code.

CCDOS can also use Traditional Chinese fonts

Just set CCDOS 97's font to HZK16F...
The prerequisite is that you need to have HZK16F

Ha ha.......I haven't been here for quite a while, because I had exams, so................
Oh right Roy, I've already found the HZK16F font, but after that I don't know what I should do, so I have to ask you for help again!

After running ccdos97, press Ctrl+F8 to switch GB->GB5->AUTO SELECT

Run ccdos /s in the CCDOS97 environment, then in under set the font path and that will do

roy, this time I'm done for. The HZK16F font I found turned out to be fake and can't be used... I'd like to ask, is the extension for the hzk16f font .dat ? If any expert here has it, could you provide a download link? I would be extremely grateful!

Roy, I've downloaded the CCDOS 97 cracked by Kinglion, and installed it under DOS in D:\ccdos, but I already followed what you said in post #10 and still couldn't get it to work (maybe I did something wrong). Also, I don't know how to use the fcfont.way you gave me. Could you please explain in a bit more detail how to use it and how to set it up? I'm really about to go crazy over this (I spent 6 hours last night trying to figure it out, and still failed). I'm really begging you, thanks...

First put fcfont.way in the ccdos97 directory, that is, D:\CCDOS, then run ccdos /s in the CCDOS97 environment, then in under set the font path (D:\CCDOS\fcfont.way), then exit ccdos and enter ccdos again, and that will do
