There are two kinds of IMZ. One is IMG+PKZip, the other is IMG+GZip.

For the first kind, you can use PKUNZIP to extract it into a disk image file, or use WinImage to open it directly. For the second kind, you need to use GUnZip first to extract it into a disk image file.

Thanks, admin,,
The compressed file I'm using is the MSDOS2.20 version, downloaded from this site.
It is in IMZ format.
What software should I use to open it?
Thanks

IMZ is a compressed image file format used by WinImage. You can open it directly with WinImage.

Climbing: The IMZ he downloaded in post #3 is in IMG+PKZip format. It indeed can be opened with WinImage, or extracted with PKUnzip into an IMG image file. But just as I said in post #2, there are two kinds of IMZ format, so you can't generalize. Also, this kind of IMZ is not a format invented solely by WinImage; it just uses PKZip's compression format to compress an IMG into a ZIP and then simply renames it to IMZ.
