Hello everyone:
My computer is dual-boot: drive C has WIN98, and drive D has WinXP. Because the 98 system crashed, I restored drive C using an old Ghost image. After that I reinstalled WinXP, but by accident I installed it onto drive C, and 98 is gone! Now it has become a single-system setup. I don't know whether I can still use Ghost to restore it. How do I restore it? I'm still not very familiar with DOS! The main problem is that my webcam and printer are incompatible under XP. Ghost is on drive E. I don't know how to open GHOST in WIN XP. Thanks!! |

Take a floppy disk and first make a boot disk. Enter DOS, restore win98, then reinstall xp. When installing it, be careful and install the system on drive D. That way you can have a dual-boot system.

I haven't installed a dual-boot system before, but the correct method should be:
1. Use GHOST to reinstall WIN98 on drive C. 2. Install WINXP, but don't do a full installation. Instead, choose "Repair" and repair the dead WINXP on drive D. Generally speaking, systems with the NT kernel all support dual booting with DOS/WIN9X. |
