If someone is willing to rewrite, it's okay. Just coordinate IO.SYS and XZL.EXE. The simplest way is to make a slight modification in the COMMAND.COM file, and call XZL first when opening CONFIG.SYS.

That's too easy to say. If it could really be achieved like this, it would have been widely spread on the Internet long ago, and there would be no need to discuss it now.
From the realization principle of the Chinese menu in bootable CD - making software such as EasyBoot, the XP and other system boot menus may be implemented in the hard disk MBR, not yet reaching the DBR. It can be seen from the fact that you can choose which partition to boot from in the menu.
