You can't install the Windows operating system on a mobile hard drive enclosure, but I've heard that you can install DOS. Does it support a mobile hard drive enclosure that supports USB 2.0? Besides the settings in the BIOS, what else should be noted?

If the mainboard doesn't support USB, then you need to use the USB driver. The USB driver under DOS can be found in "New DOS Era".

These days I've also been thinking about this problem. May I ask that my external hard drive supports USB boot, then how to install MSDOS 7.10 into the external hard drive so that it can boot. Can you give me a hint, thanks.
