Can't you just replace the original driver with the driver for your optical mouse?

It has been usable. After I added the statement "DEVICE=UHCI.EXE" in "config.sys", my Lenovo USB optical mouse can be used. But the statement "DEVICE=OHCI.EXE" doesn't work. Maybe it's because these two drivers are for different USB mice. Is that right?
