The cause of and solution to the "Runtime error 200" error message
I can't find any of the software in that article. Can you give me a link? After installing SLOWDOWN, will it affect boot speed? |

Installing SLOWDOWN cannot possibly affect boot speed, unless you use it to specify the running speed, such as 50%, etc.

Moderator, I've downloaded your software, but there are three files inside, (slowdown.com cpucache.com slowint1.com). Could you explain what these three files do? (My English isn't good, so it's very hard for me to read.) I've already copied all three of these files to the hard disk. Also, that DOS software of mine has to run under WIN98.

Just load SLOWDOWN directly. For the specific operation of slowing it down with the /P option or by hotkey, see the article I wrote.
Roy: PROT200, like TPP and BAT2PAT, is software for fixing CRT errors, not slowdown software. |

What I want to ask is, what are these two files for: cpucache.com slowint1.com?
I've already copied this software to the hard disk, but when running this software it still tries to read the floppy drive. If there is no floppy disk in the floppy drive, after it reads the floppy drive once it can still run (I don't want this software to read the floppy drive). I've already changed all the paths in the batch file. Moderator, how do I solve this problem? |

Yes, PROT200 can fix most files, but there are a few for which it won't work, and you can only use slowdown software such as SLOWDOWN.
