We often need to back up data to the hidden partition. Currently, we haven't found a software that can unhide the partition without restarting the computer. Although IBM has an F11 function that can easily enter backup and recovery, there are some problems with the XP system. After operation, the system can't boot, and we have to use the XP boot disk to repair it to start normally. It's very annoying.

There are some private things on the office computer, and the computer is used by multiple people.
I want to put the private things in a hidden partition. Can this hidden partition be set so that a command can be run to make it visible without restarting, and then hidden again without restarting through a command.

Change the hidden partition ID to normal using a partitioning software under DOS, then load it with ifsdrv.

This seems to involve booting.

If under XP, diskmgmt.msc can be used.

But if under DOS or without a system, I personally suggest using a CD or USB drive to boot and using software like PM to complete related operations. But operations like PM will definitely require a reboot after completion.

I'll continue to figure it out. Hehe
