You can download RHIDE 1.5.0.1, which is very stable!
But you can't download it from the official website of RHIDE.

Does directly using DJGPP to write C code mean running in protected mode? The x86 is really complicated. I'm used to ARM embedded, and it's really not easy to get back to x86.

The pure 32-bit protected environment provided by DJGPP is not as good as integrating it directly into the kernel of FreeDOS.

Moreover, most of the software in the FreeDOS software package is written with Borland C++ and Turbo C.

Those who do not study the past are condemned to repeat it
