I used to use Maxthon 1.X, and then switched to 2.X. But the resource usage of 2.X is relatively large, and I don't want to switch back to 1.X to use it. I always feel uncomfortable, although I'm used to it. Later, I discovered The World (World Window Browser), and I feel good after using it.

Got used to Firefox. I don't know why I get nervous when using IE, especially when browsing websites I'm not sure about, my heart beats fast. I also used Maxthon once. Who said Firefox takes up a lot of memory? Maxthon is no smaller than Firefox at all. I think it's better to list out the characteristics of all browsers so that I can choose according to my own usage, habits and my machine's configuration.

After using Linux for a while, text browsers like w3m in it are very distinctive. It would be great if the displayed pages could be consistent with those in the GUI and it's also extremely fast!!!

Now I'm using TW (The World) + Opera 10. The compatibility with FireFox is not commendable; I don't get used to browsers like IE8, Maxthon, TT, so I give up. Actually, if I really want to use IE, for versions other than 7 and 8, I can add IE Mate (originally what I installed for IE6 of 2000 to add tabbed browsing); for IE7 or 8 and previous versions, add IE Safety Guard (actually it's a BHO, but it's quite useful). But don't install both if they meet both conditions, it will conflict.

To sum up, actually it's about choosing kernels, roughly divided into several categories:
IE
Opera
FireFox
Netscape
Maxthon Webkit (speed mode)
These should be said to be independent kernels. The TW you mentioned as well as IE, TT, 360SE, Maxthon (compatibility mode). Actually, they all call the IE kernel, some are repeated.
