I have digital mar C++ on my computer but I haven't used it yet. I also only have the compiler linker and no IDE. It seems that I have to solve the IDE problem by myself.

I also used DJGPP, but after testing the performance of responding to interrupts, I still switched to Borland C. I don't know how DJGPP can respond well to external hardware interrupts.

I am currently using Borland C 3.1 to develop a GUI program with 1024*768*256 colors, using direct screen writing. The speed is acceptable, which is comparable to the version I wrote earlier in assembly.
