Using 7z.exe to make a BAT and then found that it can't run directly on other machines. It seems that some supporting files are missing. It would be great if 7ZA can run without external file support!

I found the #7za# type of file in the downloaded resource package. Looking at setup.bat, it's a renaming. 7za.exe is the English version. Come here to see the effect of this Chinese - language version.

Full of joy, thinking I found a tool that can handle.7z files in pure DOS.
Result of testing in a virtual machine...
D:\>7za
This program cannot be run in DOS mode.
If it's Windows, using 7-zip's own 7z.exe is also okay,
I just need to find the library it requires

Still need to thank the LZ owner! Although the 7za.exe in the subsequent p7z457b.zip prompts the no DPMI error in pure DOS.
