The real use of Linux is on single-chip microcomputers.

The following is the speech of evarei on 2004-1-15 14:38:09:
Excuse me, how to dial up to access the Internet under LINUX???
I am using RED HAT 9.0.

Mine is REDHAT 9.0. In the Windows operating interface, there is a dedicated network connection. Just find it and you can find it

The following is a quote from LanE at 9:17:24 on February 17, 2003:
Hehe, Linux can certainly be the mainstream system for desktops. But first, the use of Linux needs to be made simpler, and some concepts need to be made more obscure. However, will that still be the Linux that true Linux enthusiasts like? At least I don't admit that it's still Linux. That can only be a system hyped up by everyone, another Windows. Then it's better to use Windows.
I agree. Is a graphical Linux still Linux?

The following is the speech of Thornbird on 2003-5-31 17:53:49:
DOS needs some full-screen software, like the DOS version of RAR, which is powerful and doesn't require remembering too many parameters

This is the general direction,

Then is it still DOS?

I'm using Red Hat 9.0 on my own computer and it feels pretty good. But there are too many commands.

Windows mainly starts from ease of use and improves the user-friendly interface. While Linux mainly starts from the stability, reliability, and speed of server operation, and doesn't pay much attention to the user interface. So the server aspect of Unix systems is much stronger than that of the NT series.

Absolutely against it~!!

The graphical interfaces in Linux, Unix, and FREEBSD such as Gnome, KDesKtop, etc., are all very good!
And GNOME has a very beautiful appearance~!!

I always use Mandrake~; I started to get in touch with the Chinese interface of redhat from 6.2, and I used it until version 9. The reason is that the running speed is slower than 8~, and I feel that Mandrake is much better~!
