I used to keep all the above software in my toolkit and, depending on the specific software, compress it one by one for comparison, then use whichever had the highest compression ratio.
Now I do that less often. Usually I just use WinRAR, WinIMP, and CAB2003. |

It's just a WINDOWS shell for UHARC, so you can operate it with a GUI (graphical interface).

uharc can be said to have the highest compression ratio. The currently downloadable version is 0.4; 0.5 is an experimental version.
But recently I found an even more powerful compression tool, slim, and it's still under active development. I have an experimental version, only a few dozen K in size, and its compression ratio is already higher than uharc. If anyone wants to try it, I can provide it. |
