Personally I think since there's freeDOS already, there's not much need to make another system. It'd be better to work on applications. As I see it, many PC104 data acquisition programs are under DOS, but as for how to solve the large-memory problem, I still don't have a way.

Personally I think it's feasible to develop DOS32 programs under WATCOM. Many PC104 data acquisition programs are under DOS, and WATCOM can be used to break the 64K limit.
