I downloaded it and took a look, wow. Too awesome. I wonder whether the OP could switch to using ACCESS as the backend database, that way the speed might improve!

It's just that it's a bit slow before each IE window pops up....
Before each IE window comes out, CPU usage is 100%....
My machine is running XP+SP2
CPU P4 3.0G
RAM DDR2 2G

Overall, this BAT is really powerful... if it were up to me, I definitely couldn't do it...

Tip: only supports the default IE browser (it seems only the IE browser supports VBS getting parameters)
XP SP2 also has no problem
That’s why it’s called 《IE Interface Batch File Address Book》

If anyone knows how to use VBS to create other browser windows and scripts to get parameters, please write one for me

Let me explain: any2bat.vbs was written by zzzEVAzzz. There are two versions. One is the vbs+debug one converted by electronixtar, and the other is the version that uses Base64-encoded data.

The first time I added a contact it didn’t work, but after running it again I was able to add one successfully (XP+SP2)? No idea why.
The interface is quite pretty. Hope the OP keeps improving the functions, for example, why can’t it search directly from the list.
I suggest that when viewing all contact information, it should be listed in a simplified database-style model, so when there are many contacts there won’t be a need to flip pages so often.

Sometimes it works... but the first time it doesn’t. Try a few more times and it comes up.... mine is in an xp+sp2 environment....

You have to type something in there first,,,, if it exists, then it can be found. If not, it will prompt that it can’t be found,,,, and ask whether you want to add that contact....
