My external hard drive is not recognized by duse, usbaspi*.sys, but is recognized by aspiuhci.sys. However, it is not assigned a drive letter subsequently (duse can obtain it by itself, and usbaspi*.sys can obtain it when loading Di1000dd.sys). Is this a bug of Super Universal DOS? Even if loading aspiuhci.sys is placed before loading Di1000dd.sys, it doesn't work. It is estimated that no one has successfully driven USB devices through this boot disk by loading aspi*hci.sys. In addition, I found that if EMM386 is used, USB devices are not recognized when loading aspi*hci.sys.

aspi*hci.sys is a driver for Iomega. After aspi*hci.sys is successfully loaded, a supporting Guest driver: guest.exe is needed to assign drive letters. But don't expect too much. Usually, aspiUhci.sys can be successfully loaded, but then guest.exe generally fails to assign drive letters to most external hard drives, while it mostly succeeds for flash drives.
Just found that Di1000dd.sys can be used together with aspiuhci.sys, but it still can't assign drive letters to external hard drives...

I downloaded duse4.4 and successfully installed the software, but it just doesn't recognize my 16M Patriot MiniKing USB flash drive. I can only copy Windows 98 files from the PC using a floppy disk. My machine is a Toshiba portege7000ct. So bitter! Does anyone can help me????

DUSE4.4 is impossible to drive the USB disk. Try using USBASPI1.SYS.

I can drive USB flash drives under DOS with motto hairu, but cannot hot - plug. After unplugging and plugging again, the system cannot find the USB flash drive. Please experts give guidance on how to solve this!

This can only be done by reloading the DI1000DD.SYS file once again using commands like ADDEV on the DOS command line.
