This is probably the last paragraph of an email that haftmann, the author of DOSLFN, sent me a few months ago:

If you know how to deal with an LFN aware Windows network driver,
check the new FMLFN.DRV file; I forgot to give hints how to use:
system.ini->->network.drv=fmlfn.drv
winfile.ini->->longfilenames=1
The main drawback is that you cannot have another network driver!

winfile supports long filenames now, but Chinese long filenames can't be displayed. But under DOS, if I load an external Chinese character support system, I can see Chinese. So what exactly else needs to be added to support Chinese long filenames?

I just checked. With both DOSLFN and FMLFN loaded, Win3.2's "File Manager" can display both Chinese and English long filenames! To display Chinese long filenames, of course CP936(or950)UNI.TBL has to be loaded too..

I added installhigh=c:\device\lfn\DOSLFN.COM /Z:c:\device\lfn\CP936UNI.TBL to config.sys
then added FMLFN.DRV in win
Where is the mistake, how should it be loaded?
