Another update has been made!

This update mainly comprehensively enhances its portability and expandability, so a relatively large amount of code has been added! Through this update, users can directly copy it to the hard disk or other media for installation, not limited to floppy disks (this suggestion is put forward by lydong); it starts to support the "plugin" function, making it possible to freely add various other components or custom functions, truly laying the foundation for what stlily said about "free expansion".

The format of the plugin disk is that there must be at least 3 files inside, namely DISKVOL.TXT, SETUP.DAT, and a randomly named ZIP compressed package. The content of the DISKVOL.TXT file doesn't matter, and the content of SETUP.DAT is required as follows (case-insensitive):

Destzip=xx

Among them, Addname is the plugin name (within 8 characters, for example: "QV252", Addtext is the plugin description text (for example: "QuickView Pro 2.52", and Destzip is the file name of that randomly named ZIP compressed package (for example: "QVPRO252.ZIP". The ZIP compressed package should contain an AUTORUN.BAT batch file for automatic calling and running.

After using it, every time MS-DOS 7.10 starts, it can automatically start TW 3.2 to view and input Chinese (including Pinyin and Wangbi typing)!

The installation method of this plug-in is very simple. Just extract or virtualize it to a floppy disk and install this plug-in during the MS-DOS 7.10 installation.

Another update has been made. This time, some less common minor bugs are thoroughly corrected, such as the possible display of the "Batch file missing" message when exiting after copying to the hard disk without a memory virtual disk, and the possible system crash when installing by copying to the hard disk without loading HIMEM.SYS. I don't know the reason. The startup installation on the CD (2.88M image file) needs to read the floppy disk and cannot be installed. I had to change AUTOEXEC.BAT to the following content to be able to install. Please see how to modify it more simply.

Use this latest version of the MS-DOS 7.10 floppy disk installation version. It can be directly placed in a 2.88MB CD-ROM boot image for installation:

Update: Make the plug-in location more flexible, which can be in a floppy disk, or in a hard disk or CD-ROM. This makes it more convenient to make a CD-ROM image, etc.

I just tested it. After merging the two 1.44MB floppy disk images in this version into a 2.88MB CD-ROM boot image ISO, it runs without any problems and no modifications are needed.
