Using --mem has been fine since 11.29.
But this isn't the solution, right? Reading such a large ISO into memory first and then booting? Not cool.

At present, the greatest significance of a bootable CD is to directly boot the simplest PE kernel. If needed, external programs can be placed on other disks. It doesn't have much practical significance even if a large startup is successful.

The friends with problems above only say it doesn't work and there are problems. But they don't state specifically where the problems are. Even when the official version comes out, the problems still can't be solved.

grub4dos-0.4.3-2007-08-17

My USB flash drive is made into a Usb-zip boot, and can boot to DOS and automatically run Grub

Partial content of Menu.lst:
# Boot ISO file
title >>> Boot ISO file
map (fd0)/MacV.iso (hd32)
map --hook
chainloader (hd32)
boot

Content of Autoexec.bat:
grub --config-file=(fd0)/menu.lst

grub4dos-0.4.3 Chinese version, there are Grub and grldr and MacV.iso in the root directory of the USB flash drive

Error occurs after Grub boot:
Disk read error

I personally hope to enable a notebook computer without a CD drive to simulate CD boot. Currently, using superXP 7.1, I can enter the menu but the computer has no response when installing. Because there is not enough memory to add mem.

Simulation succeeded. There is a problem. I use an IMG file (automatically run GHOST, after loading the IMG, search for GHOST.EXE in the root directory of the simulated ISO and run it) but always can't find GHOST.EXE after loading the IMG. How to solve this problem?

It's been a long time since I came here. Congratulations to Brother Budian! Finally, ISO can be emulated!

Just tried it and it succeeded. Not bad!

But I don't know how to boot the real CD-ROM!

This is what I did:
cdrom --init
chainloader (cd)
boot

But after booting, it says there's a read error. Tried several CDs and it didn't work!

I don't know what the correct command is?
If anyone knows, please let me know.

I successfully started with --mem, but after using contig to organize myiso.iso, it still prompts that the file is not contiguous (contig myiso.iso). What's the matter? Have other friends encountered this problem?
