Two ways to fix IE6

1. Install Internet Explorer 6.0 directly on the system drive

Insert the Windows XP installation disc, and type the following command in the "Start -> Run" window:

rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 %windir%\Inf\ie.inf



2. Repair Internet Explorer 6.0

Perform the following steps to repair Internet Explorer 6.0:

1. Use the system file checking tool to scan all write-protected files on the computer:

a. Click Start -> Run; the Run text box pops up;

b. Type sfc /scannow in the "Open:" field, then click OK. At this time, the system may prompt you to insert the Windows XP installation disc

IP2 is a compact network tool that allows users to view their own IP addresses, whether wide area network addresses or local area network addresses.
