Linux is really great as a desktop, and I just use it to post water here.

I have also installed with LINUX, but I think the input method is not very easy to use. Sandy, can you recommend a good Chinese input method? I use Smart ABC under WINDOWS, can you recommend a similar one?

The development of Linux also has the factor of people's habits. Most people are used to drive C and drive D, but not used to hddX and Mount, and they don't understand the concept of Linux partitioning.
站不稳,真的站不稳,DOS真的很难站稳,谁给我找个立脚的地方?

The following is the statement from Zhan Bu Wen on 2003-7-15 10:43:37:
There are also the habit factors in the development of Linux
Most people are used to drive C, drive D, but not used to hddX and Mount, and also don't understand the concept of Linux partitions.

How can I manage the disk, such as the DC connected via USB! I can't find it! I did see it in the disk management interface, but I don't know how to operate to open the pictures in the DC!

Linux has also become very large now. I like small ones that are easy to use. It's not okay yet. Although some versions are better, they are difficult to use. I'll just wait. What can be popular is what can be used without much learning. The genuine ones are also very cheap, heh heh. The software is still relatively rich.

If used for setting up a website, choose "LINUX".
For general purposes, it is less convenient than "WINDOWS".
But LINUX is very secure and stable!!!

I think Linux still has a very promising future.

It feels pretty good, but it's too difficult for the average person to use it. There's still a long way to go for Linux to become popular!!!

The following is a quote from LanE on May 3, 2003 at 20:15:19:
I actually think the previous LINUX was better, and you can learn a lot of things

That's not necessarily the case. I'm using RH 8.0, which is very good

LINUX will be an operating system that can compete with WINDOWS. It is an open system. Only what is open has life. Technology should not be monopolized by a few people. Although LINUX is not mature, the future will be a world of networks, and LINUX is a system developed for networks. Therefore, the open network system is the hope for the future.

LINUX has a one-megabyte system, which can be installed on a floppy disk, can access the Internet, and can be used as a network sharing server. I have used it, and it's extremely great!

I really want to learn Linux. I've installed it many times. Recently, I installed RH90 and Red Flag 40. But I don't understand why Linux is always extremely slow. It's very easy to freeze when opening a web page for more than 4-5 seconds. This is very inconsistent with its powerful functions. Why?
clipper 有谁在用?交流一下

I think Linux is pretty good. I've installed it several times. But there's a problem. I don't know if it's because I'm too green. It always feels too messy, as if there's no unified scheduling.
