The hard disk of my computer, which is 40G, is divided into 3 partitions. The C drive and D drive are NTFS partitions, and the E drive is a FAT32 partition. In addition, I have another 40G external hard disk, which is also divided into 3 partitions, all in FAT32 format.
When I boot the system with the Super Universal MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk, I encounter the following problems:
1. Why can I access the external hard disk when I choose the first item to boot? Isn't it that items 3 and 4 are for supporting USB devices?
2. When I choose item 3 to boot, another LOGO screen appears and then it stops there. It freezes completely. None of the keyboard keys work. Even pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del for a warm boot doesn't work. Later, I directly pressed the Reset button on the main unit to restart.
3. When I choose item 4 to boot, it stops when loading the NTFS device. The indicator lights of the numeric keypad still respond. Ctrl+Alt+Del warm boot is also possible. At that time, the prompt at the bottom of the screen is: "No NTFS drives recognized - exiting". It seems that no NTFS partitions are recognized, but there are obviously 2 NTFS partitions on my hard disk.
