SRCTOOLS was also used when I first learned DOS. The biggest advantage is its small size, but there are also unsatisfactory aspects. Moreover, it is divided into three files, which is inconvenient for operation and dissemination.
It is recommended to use the miniTO I recently wrote, which covers all the functions of SRCTOOLS. There are also many other functions, and all are in one program!
The functions that SRCTOOLS does not have are as follows:
Mainly:
1. Support for backing up the DBR of the NT partition
2. Support for backing up the partition table of the logical drive
3. Support for compressing FAT
4. Support for the function of backing up the entire partition table chain (DPIT in this forum also has similar functions, and you are also welcome to try it)
