I tried this earlier, but it didn't work. After replacement, Win95B prompted an IOS.VXD file error during startup and then automatically shut down.

Boss Wengier, how small is it? Is it practical? You mentioned 10 times. Does that refer to the GHO file or after decompression? I have an E95 here that's only 3M, and after decompression it's 7M, but it's useless, just a toy. Can't add anything to it. It's suggested to make P95 or P98, which are larger in size but practical. I also want to ask, if I want to automatically add a RAM disk when booting and then copy things from the CD, what's the best method?

It can run on my machine, but I think don't always pursue small size. A bit larger is not a problem, but the functionality should be strong. It would be great if we could make a full version of Win98 that can run from a CD.

It can't be started on my machine either.
First, it prompts that there are more than a dozen VXD files missing (press any key to continue), and then the graphical interface entered is only green.
Can't exit, have to restart with the three-key restart.

I formatted the FAT32 C:\ drive, then extracted the RAR files to the C:\ drive, and directly copied the IO.SYS and other three files into the C:\ drive. It booted successfully!

This seems to be a normal 98 installation file, not the WIN98 that can run on a CD.

Except for the registry file, I have now reduced MiniWin98SE to about 11MB (uncompressed), and all normal functions are available. However, how to streamline this registry file (more than 2MB)?
