That doesn't necessarily mean it's fake. Yesterday I successfully slimmed the Chinese Win95B(97) down to around 10MB. I originally wanted to keep trimming it, but I accidentally deleted this Chinese MiniWin97.

I wasn't lying. I replaced the font file with a smaller font, but I've been pretty busy lately and haven't had time to work on it, so I put it aside for now. But I'll write up the trimming tutorial as soon as I can.

Didn't you see that the font in the screenshot doesn't look very good?
Because my goal is only to run winzip and winrar, I haven't tested other software! I ran into some trouble getting it to run from CD, and I'm trying hard to solve it. But I have too little time! No free time! |

I think the purpose of trimming should be that Windows 98 and the like have fairly high memory requirements, so on older computers with 16/32M of RAM they run too slowly (especially laptops). I think that besides the most basic things, it should at least still be able to play MP3s and FLASH files.

Personal interest! Hehe! Because when I saw someone make a 40m 98, I started wondering whether it could be made even smaller, since N years ago I had already made a 25M 98! Right now I'm just pushing my old work one step further!
