Naturally, we will explain using MS-DOS 7.10, which has the best compatibility and is the most widely used, as the standard DOS system. Now it has started.

As a newbie, I still have a special affection for 6.22. I hope to experience the process of 6.22 that you old-timers once went through. I have visited many (DOS and non-DOS) learning forums and talked with many newbie friends about some heartfelt words.

In fact, when we learn DOS, it's not that we want to have great achievements in the future. We really just want to experience the process of learning.

When we go to some forums, for some questions, most of the old-timers are disdainful to answer. Maybe it's because our way of asking questions is wrong, we haven't learned the way of asking questions well, or maybe the questions we ask are too simple. Although we stayed up all night, earnestly studied to solve this simple problem and were extremely helpless, we had to beg the old-timers for help. Of course, the knowledge of the old-timers didn't come easily. Helping is a favor, and not helping is also a duty. As newbies, we all understand. At the same time, we call for more warm-hearted old-timers in the forum to answer our questions. We newbies may not be able to give you anything in material terms, but in spirit, we will offer the newbies' hot and grateful hearts and the truly adoring gazes towards you.

Moreover, some old-timers blindly and arbitrarily change your train of thought and then answer your questions in a way that is off the point, to show how advanced,超前 (forward), perfect and creative their ideas are. They are indeed ahead because they are pioneers. We newbies know that. But we newbies pay more attention to the process of learning and solving problems. I think this is what we newbies hope to get. What do you all think?

What I said may represent newbies, may only represent a part, or may only represent myself. Since Wengier put forward the teaching plan, as a newbie, I have to say something. After all, human emotions are based on understanding, and understanding is built on communication. I also hope that real communication can be established between old-timers and newbies. After all, the current newbies will become future old-timers -_-! Only by establishing a good communication relationship can we continue to inherit, improve and carry forward DOS technology.

Always say want to learn DOS. How to learn? If you really want to learn, first find a few DOS books. Learn systematically, and ask questions after practice and thinking when encountering problems. If you plan to learn DOS (not just DOS, any new thing) by just asking casually and looking casually

Two words "Impossible"

Recently, I was invited to prepare to write a DOS book. It is probably from the most basic level, from simple to complex, and based on MS-DOS 7.10. Because MS-DOS 7.10 is powerful, practical and easy to use. As for 6.22, to be honest, I can say that I basically have no affection for it, because it is really too impractical and not easy to use at present.

In fact, everyone is a learner, both old-timers and newcomers are constantly learning. Therefore, it is best to establish a perfect communication to achieve the purpose of helping each other and making progress together.

Don't hide it from this person. I went to major and small bookstores in my city, and there was not a single book about the DOS system. I also personally asked the bookstore staff, and they looked at me with a strange look and asked me
"Who still learns DOS now?"

You can only find it in the library

Not bad, when I first started learning DOS, I just secretly took back several DOS books from our provincial library, and then I had a systematic understanding of DOS.
