That is the end-of-text file character, which is required by some editors. It does not affect other editors or programs.

I found a strange problem. When vtgbk is added with parameters, it can't recognize the digital filename (such as: vtgbk /8 02.txt).....

In addition, when used in the BCDW configuration file, the border of BCDW will become garbled, and when it exceeds 64 Chinese characters, individual English characters will be garbled...

Is it possible to support GB18030 - 2005?

This is indeed a BUG! It will be fixed in the next version.

This is a single-byte and double-byte conflict in VT technology. The first 64 Chinese characters are replaced by extended ASCII characters. For Chinese characters exceeding 64, only basic ASCII characters can be used for replacement, unless you use two character sets together and only use extended ASCII characters. This is a hardware limitation and cannot be solved by software.

The trouble with GB18030 is that many CJK Extension A characters are in the 4-byte area, not to mention CJK Extension B and the Unicode mapping area—all in the 4-byte area. We haven't adapted to the 4-byte encoding era yet.

Is there one for the 32-bit system?

I always feel that the generated characters are not as beautiful as those generated by VTMAGIC -.-! Is it psychological?
