DOS stands for freedom, openness and progress. Let us work hard, learn from the openness and GNU spirit of FreeDOS and Linux, and together build and grow a free GNU GPL world!

The following is quoted from hplyq at 2003-9-29 21:26:24:
1. Boot the computer with the MS-DOS7.10 super boot disk, use the SYS command to transfer system files to drive C, and when booting the computer the following warning message appears
Warning:thesystemconfigurationmanagerfailedtorun.someofyourreal-modedevicedriversmaynotinitializeproperly.
2. Also, when installing Windows98, a prompt saying Config.sys is invalid appears
Config.sys file is invalid
A Config.sys file containing multiple boot methods may be invalid. Setup can create a new default Config.sys file. The original file will be saved as Config.bak
3. Can XZL be replaced with TWAY, and VC removed? VC doesn't support Chinese.
That's not how to use it! If you want to install DOS on drive C, please use the "MS-DOS 7.10 full installation edition", not a DOS boot disk.
VC definitely supports Chinese, as long as a Chinese character support system is loaded.

It's already good enough just to have something to use. Still wanting it to be both small and easy to use—how can you have the best of both worlds? But I still prefer UCDOS7.0. Xiuzhenlong's Chinese characters are too ugly.

With the limitations of floppies, you'll rack your brains to save a few K bytes.
Of course you can make it into a 2.88M IMG image.
But 1.44 floppy drives haven't been eliminated after all.
At that point you have to be a bit moderate.
